Alfred Ray Davenport

Altamont- Alfred “Ray” Davenport passed away Saturday October 20, 2012. Born on July 13, 1922, he was 90. Alfred was a longtime Albany residence, a World War II Veteran and a retired Troy High School teacher. He is survived by his wife Martha B. Davenport, his son Daniel A. Davenport, his granddaughter Chantel Davenport and her fiancé Christopher Bradford. Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 6-8PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont, NY. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday, Oct. 25,2012 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Saratoga National Cemetery.
