Barbara J. Prevosti

Stamford, NY Barbara Prevosti,56 of Stamford, NY formerly of Windham, NY died at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug. 15,1954 the daughter of Archie and Margaret (nee MIdgley) Nelson in Staten Island, NY. She is survived by her husband Robert G. Prevosti,her son David , daughters Heather and Jessica, grandchildren Georgianna and Noah Prevosti. She is also survived by her brother David Nelson and her sister Dorothy Green. Barbara was an active member of the Maplecrest Free Methodist Church as well as the Stamford Baptist Church. Calling hours will be held on May 7,2011 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Decker Funeral Home, Windham,NY. A funeral service will be conducted on Sun. May 8,2011 at 2:00pm in the funeral home with Rev. Waylen Bray officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ashland,NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Catskill Area Hospice at www.cahpc.org/donate.htm
