Betty R. Van Hoesen

Guilderland- Betty R. Van Hoesen, 88, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Helen Myers. She is survived by her sons Ric (Scherry) Wallace of Guilderland, NY and Ron (Donna) Wallace of Knox, NY; her brother William Myers of Florida; Her grandchildren, Michelle (Chuck) Butler, Terry (Leah) Wallace, Kim (Chris Albee) Laviolette, Nicole Prusinski, John (Karen Jamack)Wallace, and Heather Horan; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Justin, Matthew, Michael, Alexandra, Preslie, Sarah, Jacob, Joshua, Matt, Robert and Ashley. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Riley Van Hoesen. She was a graduate from Middleburgh High School. She worked as a typist for the Pathology Dept at Albany Medical Center. She was an active member at the Altamont Seniors and a faithful parishioner of Helderberg Reformed Church. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 5-7PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont. A service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 10AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at Memory Garden's, 983 Watervliet-Shaker Rd., Albany.
