Chester J. Rukat

Chester J. Rukat of Knox passed away peacefully at the age of 94 at Ellis Hospital Thursday June 22, 2023. He was the son of the late Adam and Katrazyna (Sobol) Rukat. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Saddlemire) Rukat whom he shared 54 years of marriage with.

Chet and Bea enjoyed camping, traveling and square dancing together over their many years of marriage.

Chester is survived by several nieces and nephews. Chet is predeceased by his siblings. Chet's family wishes to thank the many great people who helped with Chet's care throughout the years.

Family and friends are invited to visit Chester's family 4-6pm Monday June 26th in the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont. Interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Berne Tuesday June 27th at 10:15am.

In lieu of flowers those wishing to memorialize Chester are welcome to do so with a random act of kindness for someone in need.
