Clinda A. Pollard

Clinda "Cindy" Ann (Wellisch) Pollard died peacefully on November 02, 2024. She was 89.

In her early years Cindy was a teachers assistant at Altamont Elementary School. She was a huge advocate for children with disabilities and helped start the Wildwood School. Cindy loved the Altamont Fair and was a director for many years. Cindy and her good friend Midge Peterson ran the Farm Musuem.

She had several business ventures ni the Village of Altamont including The Village Mart, Cindy's Country Kitchen, and The Home Front Cafe.

Cindy is survived by her sons: John IV, Eric (Carol), Marc (Wendy). Her 7 grandchildren: Nichole, Samantha, Amanda, Adam, Ashley, Evan, &Emily. Her 3 great grandchildren: Kaelan, Anthea, &Chloe. Her husband of 65 years John I (Jack) died before her.

Friends and family are invited to an open house memorial gathering where food and refreshments will be served. Please join us on Saturday November 23rd between 11-2:30 at American Legion Post 977 988 Altamont Blvd. Altamont.
