Cynthia J. Wadach

Cindy Wadach, once Guilderland's Social Butterfly, became Heaven's Social Butterfly on Thursday, September 28, 2023 following an illness.

Cindy felt very blessed to have family members who were also friends, including her sisters Nancy Brady and Peggy Stedman; her brother John Wadach (Bonnie); her sister-in-law Jodi Wadach (Don); and her cousins: Pamela Jacobson (Sid), Denice Pellecchia (Mike), Melanie Kelly (John), Marilyn O'Connor (Tom), Mark Wadach (Nicky), Matthew Wadach (Barb), Jeff Haggas (Carol), Steve Haggas (Patty), and Regina Schaefer.

She also leaves many adored nieces and nephews: David (Tricia), Paige, Abigail, and Timothy Dobies; Elizabeth, Aaron (Lacy), Lyndsay, Chelby, Taylor (Elias), and Emma Cooke; Kara (Matt), Ty, Benjamin, and Kamryn Petras; Kaye (Brian), Trevor, and Colby Bemis; Joshua and Matthew Stedman; Kellen (Brooke), Jack, and Audrey Wadach; Kate (Rob), Henry, Claire, and Thomas Williams; Brendon Wadach, and Rachel (Chris), Eli, and Ari Mieney.

She also felt blessed to have many friends who were like family to her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Ted and Marion Wadach, and her brother, Peter Wadach.

Volunteering in the community was a passion of hers and most recently, she was involved in the following organizations: Community Caregivers, Guilderland Library Foundation, Guilderland Fire Department Auxiliary, and Guilderland Chamber of Commerce.
