Daniel Ricketts

East Berne- Daniel Ricketts “Rooster”, 50, passed away on August 31, 2013 at home following a tragic ATV accident. He was born in Albany, NY to Lora Richardson and the late Raymond Ricketts. Dan worked for United Parcel Service in Latham for 28 years. He was the beloved father of Danielle C. Ricketts and the proud grandfather of Zoey Raye Babcock. He is also survived by two sisters, Marcia Pangburn and Kathleen Neal (Gary Carnevale); special nieces and nephews Brandon Clark, Miles Pangburn (Melissa), Kassi Rae Neal, Kyra Swan, and extra special grand-niece Nichole Clark and special grand-nephew Samson Clark. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street Altamont, NY from 5-8PM.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11AM at the Thompson’s Lake Reformed Church in East Berne, interment to follow at Thompson’s Lake Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dan’s memory to the Thompson’s Lake Reformed Church, Helderberg Ambulance or the East Berne Volunteer Fire Company.
