Donald E. Moser

Donald E. Moser, 80, of Berne, NY passed away Thursday, February 12th, 2015 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Schenectady, NY May 2, 1934 he was the son of the late Emil and Teresa Moser. After graduating from Draper High School in 1952 he enrolled into the General Electric Apprenticeship Course which led to a 43 year career at the General Electric Company in Schenectady, NY. A family man through and through Don cherished his time spent with his loving wife of 59 years Roslyn and his family. He was extremely proud of his two daughters Eileen (Michael) Gipp and Donna (David) Gaige and his son Kurt (Tina) Moser. He was also a loving and dedicated grandfather to Jennifer Gipp, Jessica Gaige, Gregory Gaige, Allison (Vinnie) Sanganetti, Ryan Moser, Morgan Moser and great granddaughter Gianna Batchelder. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Leone and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 17th, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont, New York.
