Donald T. Townsend

East Berne,NY- Donald T. Townsend 69, died on June 28,2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a long illness. Donald was born on Nov. 22,1943 the son of George and Rose (nee Ceverella) Townsend in Freeport , NY. He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis (nee Porter), his mother Rose, his children, Monica (Larry) Poitras, Kristen (Chris) Saccento and Brian Townsend, his grandchildren Benjamin Poitras ,Madison, Kaili and Sophia Saccento, his sister Carlene (Tim) Bowen, his brother in laws Wayne (Mariann) Porter and James (Jane) Porter and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St. Altamont, NY on Tuesday July 2,2013 from 5-7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wed. July 3,2013 in the funeral home at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Berne NY.
