Dorothy Z. Sand

Altamont- Dorothy Z. Sand, 87, passed away on Friday January 30, 2009. She is survived by four children, Carl (Janet) Sand of Cobleskill, Lisa (Larry) Pierce of Schoharie, Peter (Karen) Sand of Saratoga Springs, and Susan (Daniel) Weinberg of Guilderland; eleven grandchildren Joel and Mark Sand, Kate Elder, Lindsey and Morgan Pierce, Todd and Ryan Sand, Andrea, Nathan, Kimberly, and Carli Weinberg; nine great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Carl Sand Sr. and her son Eric Sand. Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday February 3, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Altamont Reformed Church followed by an interment will be in Memory's Garden. Friends may call Monday from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont.
