Edith E. Voorhees

Prattsville-Edith E. Voorhees 80,passed away peacefully on February 23,2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 18,1934 the daughter of Hillis and Juanita Fairbairn in Dry Brook NY. She was predeceased by her husband Maurice Voorhees Jr. on Jan. 1,2009. She is survived by two daughters Jean Laga and Dale Kraft as well as two sons Stephen C. and Edward G. Voorhees. She is also survived by her sister Mona Ford and her brother Bob Fairbairn . She was the grandmother of eight . Calling hours will be held on Thurs. Feb. 26,2015 from 6-8pm at Decker Funeral Home ,Windham, NY A service will be conducted at 8pm with the Rev. Elliot Oakes officiating. The interment will take place at Fairlawn Cemetery, Prattsville, NY in the spring.
