Albany- Edna May Mercer, 69, passed away on March 12, 2013 at Samaritan Hospital’s Community Hospice after a brief illness. Born in Albany, NY on May 25, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Edna (Reily) Szesnat. She is survived by her husband Dorance (Bud) Mercer; her children Tina Ryan, Vicky Radley, and Dale Mercer; her grandchildren Tamara Fowler, Tiera Ryan, Vanessa Radley, Brenda Adams, Amanda Radley, Amber Ryan and Cody Radley. Her great grandchildren Adam Hall Jr., Richard Gosselin 3rd, Alannah Grace D’errico, Bianca Adams, Anthony Adams, Matthew Kennedy Jr. and Dominic Adams Jr. Her siblings Dottie Schoonmaker, Eve Bidosky, Joe and John Szesnat and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Antoinette Hobb and brother Larry Szesant. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 5-7PM at Fredendall Funeral Home 199 Main St. Altamont, NY. Funeral service on Thursday, 11AM at the funeral home, Interment to follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland.
