Edward D. Johnson

Rexford - Edward D. Johnson, 87, on died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at River Ridge Living Center. He was born on March 17, 1923 in New York City, son of the late Gustave and Esther Johnson. He served in the Marines during World War II. He worked for Western Electric, where he was very active in the union; serving as the President and Vice President. Edward is survived by his wife of over sixty years Theresa M. Johnson; three sons, Edward G. (Nimfa), Ronald T., and Richard D. Johnson; a daughter Elizabeth (William) Lee as well as 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 1 PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont, followed by a private interment in Memory Gardens. Friends may call prior to the service from 12 PM to 1 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Schenectady City Mission P.O. Box 760 Schenectady, NY 12301
