Edwin C. Hitchcock

Windham- Edwin C. Hitchcock died at The Pines in Catskill, NY on Monday, May 8, 2017, he was 86. He was born on February 1, 1931 to Rudolph and Elsie (nee More) Hitchcock in Conesville, NY. Edwin was a resident in the Town of Windham since 1955. He served in the US Army from 1952-1954 and spent time in Korea. He was a VFW member. He was also a member of the Windham Fire Company serving as a fireman and on the Commissioners Board. He is survived by his daughters, Joann and Janice. He was predeceased by his wife Charlotte in 2014. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Decker Funeral Home, 5312 State Rt. 23, Windham, NY. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edwin's memory to Windham-Hensonville United Methodist Church, Roof Fund, 5296 State Rt. 23 Windham, NY 12496
