Elizabeth Lowenberg Buess

Altamont - Elizabeth Lowenberg Buess, 66, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2012 at her home after a long illness. She was born in Utica, NY on July 22, 1945, to Louise L. Lowenberg and Leslie H. Lowenberg and grew up in Manlius, NY. Beth worked alongside her husband of 44 years Kenneth E. Buess at KB Graphic Design and worked as the church secretary at St. John's Lutheran Church for several years. Beth loved cooking, baking, quilting, gardening and various church activities. She was the mother of Stephen M. Buess (Karen) and Amy C. Buess (Jeff Dyer) and grandmother of Evan and Lauren Buess and baby Dyer. Survivors include her sister Mary Louise James (Robert) of Slingerlands, NY, brothers Richard L. Lowenberg (Kathy) of Fayetteville, NY and Karl P. Lowenberg of Olive, MI and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church at a later date. At the request of the family, any memorial donations should be made to St. John's Lutheran Church and The Community Hospice of Albany County
