 Emily Elizabeth Bradt (nee George) of Linthicum, MD, age 81, passed away on January 14, 2014.  She is the beloved wife of 59 years of Richard William Bradt, dear mother of Dale, Gary and the late Mark Bradt, Lori Schuessler and Lisa Bentley, loving grandmother of Allyson and Blake Bentley, Garrett and Grant Bradt, Meghan Schuessler, Michael and Tracey Bradt, Jennifer Massey and Mark Ryan Morris Bradt, devoted great grandmother of Mollie Massey and caring sister of James George. Emily was a member of Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church where she was in the choir and the Women's Fellowship Circle as well as Job’s Daughters International.  She was a past member of Bethel Guardian #29 and the Order of the Easter Star #80. Among her other interests include reading, playing cards, crossword puzzles and cheering for the Orioles.  She also loved birds.  Emily was an accomplished artist.  She minored in Art at Wagner College.  She worked with acrylics, water colors, and charcoal drawings. Emily also loved to go on trips to Williamsburg, VA. Family and friends are invited to calling hours at Fredendall Funeral Home 199 Main St. Altamont on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 10-11AM with a funeral service to follow at 11AM.;interment at Schenectady Memorial Park following the service.
