Frances Martin

Frances Martin,81,of Hensonville,NY, beloved wife of John (Puffy) Martin passed away July 10th 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Frances was born on July 29th 1931 to John and Ellen Mary (nee Lowery) Martin in Brooklyn NY. She was the loving mother of Fran (Newt) Partridge, Sue Ellen (Kent) McCullar , Regina (Tom) McGoldrick, John (Marie) Martin and Matt (Meg) Martin. Frances was the dear sister of Thomas, Billy, and Ellen Maher. She was the cherished nan of John, Vin, Gina, Katie, Molly, Christopher, Elizabeth, Colin and Fern. She was the loving great grandmother to Abby and Will, and the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Vincent and Jack. Visiting hours will be held at Decker Funeral Home, Main Street Windham NY on July 11th from 2:00pm-4:00pm, and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A mass of the resurrection will take place at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church on Friday, July 12th at 10:30am, and an interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Community Hospice, 47 Liberty Street, Catskill, NY 12414.
