Gary G. Willsie

East Berne- Gary G. Willsie passed away at home on January 18, 2022. He was born on May 3rd, 1955, to Glen and Shirley Willsie and spent many years working on the family farm. He is pre-deceased by his wife Cathy Goodrich Willsie. He is survived by his parents Glen and Shirley and siblings Ross (Kathy) Willsie, Paula Willsie and Dawn (Bill) Moons, nieces Carly and Samantha and nephew Ethan and his great nephews and niece.
Gary is known for his leatherwork, wood working, his spiritual and mystical being, riding his motorcycle and his love of playing the guitar with his band buddies A Bunch of Guys. He also wrote many memorable songs enjoyed by those who knew him. Mostly he will be remembered for his kindness and love of life. He never met anyone who he wouldn’t give the shirt off his back. He loved to dance, loved the moon, and loved nature and all animals. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Helderberg Ambulance Squad would be appreciated. Gary’s family would like to thank the Albany County Sheriff’s department for their caring assistance. Services are private.
