Gertrude L. Ezick

Duanesburg - Gertrude L. Ezick, 92, found peace on December 8, 2009 at the St. Peter's Hospice Inn after a brief illness. She was a graduate of the Binghamton General Hospital as a registered nurse. In 1939, she married her husband of 24 years the late Thaddeus Ezick. Together they raised three daughters in LaFayette, NY; Jorene (Ray) Taylor, Carol (Lyn) Wheeler, and Winifred (Bill) Koontz; who gave them six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be May 22, 2010 at St. Mary' Catholic Church in Hamilton, NY at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow and then a luncheon at the Colgate Inn also in Hamilton. Donations may be made in Gertrude's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
