Gertrude B. Perue

West Berne- Gertrude (Betty) Bunzey Perue, 86, died at the Baptist Health Care Center in Scotia, NY on March 23, 2014. She was born on January 20, 1928 in West Berne, NY to Ford and Ethel (Conklin) Bunzey. Gertrude was a caregiver for many of her family members throughout her life. She was a hostess at Borelli’s Restaurant in Howes Cave, NY for many years. She is survived by her siblings Emma Bunzey Stevens of Knox, NY and Ralph Bunzey of Monroe, GA.; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by Ollie Bunzey Rowe, Mildred Bunzey Labonawicz, Ruby Bunzey Simon, Eva Mae Bunzey Anderson, Morris Bunzey, Ken Bunzey Sr., and Ford Bunzey Jr. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 4-8PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Berne in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s memory to the Baptist Health Care Center, 297 North Ballston Avenue, Scotia, NY 12302.
