WINDHAM - Gordon Mulford of Windham passed peacefully on Sunday March 26, 2017 surrounded by family. He was born in Windham on November 23, 1936 the son of the late George E Mulford and Elnora C (Maben) Mulford.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Judy (Brennan) Mulford of Windham, daughter Gail (John) Donahue of Tiverton RI, their children John, Tyler and Kyle, son Todd (Sherry) Mulford of Stevensville MI, their children Jonathan, Cassidy, Christopher and Grant ; two great granddaughters Sophie and Alexa Mulford, nieces, nephews, Aunt Margaret and many good friends.
Gordon is also survived by his sister Linda (Mulford) Shipes of Mathews N.C., and brother George (Renee) Mulford of Windham and brother in law LeGrand Buel. He is predeceased by his sister Leone (Mulford) Buel.
Gordon was a heavy equipment operator in the army between 1958-62 including a tour in Greenland. Gordon retired from J.A. Carmen after a greater than 30 year truck driving career.
Upon retirement Gordon enjoyed restoring antique tractors, spending time with his grandchildren and working outside with his neighbors and friends.
Calling hours will be Wednesday 5-8 at Decker Funeral Home on Main Street in Windham with a funeral to follow on Thursday at Mitchell Hollow Mission Church at 2pm with Pastor Ryan Dempsey officiating.
The family would like to thank the staff at Albany Medical Center for their wonderful care of Gordon.
