Harrison C. Soule

d. March 1, 2012

On March 1, 2012, Harrison Charles Soule (aka Fuzzy) was called home to be with our Lord with his family at this side. On October 27, 1932, Harrison was born to Charles and Sarah Soule. He shared 59 years of his life with his wife, Wilmary (Wilma), on the family farm in Jewett, NY. Harrison loved hunting and the farming way of life, from his beginning to his end. He is survived by his wife, daughter, Sharon Soule Meeker, and son-in-law, Richard A Meeker, of Burgaw, NC; son, Wayne H. Soule and Ann Kruzinski, of Schoharie; Grandson Chad R. Meeker, wife Ashley and Great Granddaughter, Adalyn Maris Meeker of Wilmington, NC and Sisters, Dorothy Giordano of Jewett, and Nettie Juett of FL, and brother, Clarence Soule of Jewett, NY, Brother-in-Laws Pat Giordano, Jewett and William Decker, Lexington, and Sister-in-Laws Jeanne Soule, Jewett, Ollie Palmer of Catskill, and Martha Soules of Jewett. Harrison is also survived by his Aunt Nelda Moore of Lexington, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Stanley G. and Audrey L. Soule and sister, Daisy VanEtten. Harrison was a bus driver at Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School in the 1960's, member of the Jewett Fire Department and NRA member. He loved helping his neighbors and others in their time of need, and believed that a handshake was as good as a contract. The family thanks the doctors, surgeons and staff at Columbia Memorial Hospital for their efforts, especially Dr. Wayne Maben. A funeral service will not be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jewett Fire Department. A celebration of his life will be held at a later time that is convenient for his family.
