Harry P. Simmons

Berne- Harry "Butch" Simmons, 66, died suddenly on Monday May 25, 2009. He was born on January 14, 1943 in Hudson, NY. He grew up and attended school in Albany. Butch worked as an autobody man, where he straightened and painted many cars for years. Later in life he went to work for the Guilderland School District. He retired after 16 years of service at the school. After his retirement enjoyed building and painting model cars and trucks with his daughter Kelcii. Butch is survived by his devoted wife Beverly of 21 years; his loving daughters and their families, Kelcii Simmons of Berne, NY; Krista Kent and her husband to be John and children Taylor and Mikayla; Mackenzie Hempstead her husband Don and their children Callie and Garret. He is also survived by a great many of nieces, nephews and friends. You will be greatly missed Butch by all. A funeral service will be conducted at 6 pm on Friday, May 29, 2009 at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont. Friend may call prior form 4 to 6 pm.
