Helen K. Cusack

Guilderland Center- Helen K. Cusack, 91, died on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. Born on June 22, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Bertha Klett. She supported the war effort in WWII by working at the Watervliet Arsenal. She retired from the Guilderland Central School District where she worked as a cashier. She was a member of Ladies auxiliary of the Guilderland Center Fire Department and the Altamont VFW. She was also a member of the Home Bureau, N.C.H.A., and the Altamont Seniors. She was a parishioner of St. Lucy's R.C. Church and a member of the rosary society. She was also known for being a professional garage sale shopper. She is survived by three daughters, Peppie Harnett and her husband David of East Berne, Phyllis C. Mullany and her husband Tom of Malta, and Eileen Billings and her husband Steve of Grafton; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Helen is predeceased by her husband J. Harry Cusack, and son James Cusack Jr. A spring burial will be at the convenience of the family in Fairview Cemetery.
