Altamont- Henry F. Lilienthal, 81, died on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the St. Peters Hospice Inn after a long battle with cancer. He was born February 3, 1928 to the late Milton and Blanche Lilienthal. Henry Enlisted in the Army and served during the Korean War era. He married Shirley Myers on June 5, 1954; they were married for 54 years. Henry worked for Red Star Express for 30 years retiring in 1988. During his retirement he enjoyed boating, camping, and fishing. Henry and Shirley loved to travel around the country. He is survived by his wife Shirley; three children Vicki (Louis) Vergamini of Skaneateles, NY, Linda (Hamid) Khodabandehloo of Niskayuna, NY, and James (Patricia) Lilienthal of Creswell, OR; Nine grandchildren Marissa, Heather, Andrea, Holly, Stacey, Sara, Anna, James Jr., and Kailynn; as well as one great granddaughter Ava. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Tuesday, March 3, 2008 at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont, to be followed by an interment in Albany Rural Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5 to 7 pm. The family of Henry F.
