Ingeborg Barth Davis

Altamont- Ingeborg (Inga) Barth Davis, surrounded by her loving family, died on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at The Manor of Guilderland Center. She was born on May 22, 1930 in Albany, NY to the late Rudolf J. and Hildegard (née Hesse) Barth. She was 84. Inga was a lifelong resident of Altamont. She graduated from Altamont High School in 1948. She was the proprietor of Inga Barth Flowers from 1950-1994. She enjoyed curling, fishing, traveling and spending summers on Saratoga Lake. She is survived by five children, Robert G. Davis (Susan), Jean Simmons (John), Heidi Zembo (George), Paul Davis (Barbara) and Mark Davis (Cindy); thirteen grandchildren, Monica Martin, Joshua Zimmermann, Jennifer Ray, Justin Wemple, Patrick and Keary Simmons, Christine Schoeffler, Lauren Davis-Parker, Lindsay Nates, Eric, Ryan, Michael and Jack Davis; eighteen great grandchildren, Nicholas Martin, Jacob and Joshua Ray, Kendall and Jett Zimmermann, Colten Simmons, Madison and Lidea Herrick, Logan and Chad Schoeffler, Jordyn, Hailey, Natalie, Charlotte and Anthony Parker, Aubrey, Sydney and Dominic Nates ; her brother Rudolf Barth (Nancy). She was predeceased by her former husband Robert A. Davis. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 4-8PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 11 AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
