Jean M. Adams

Altamont - Jean M. Adams died after a long illness on Monday August 3, 2009. Born on February 13, 1935 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and the late Bertha Carpenter. Jean was a 1953 graduate of Albany High School. On June 13, 1953, she married Arnold J. Adams Sr.; they were married for 51 years. Throughout her career she worked for the Fuller Brush Company, Guilderland High School, as well as the Guilderland Center Nursing Home. Jean is survived by a son Arnold Jr. and his wife Diane; two daughters, Carol Donato and her husband Joseph, and Tammy Weiler and her husband Raymond Jr.; seven grand children Apryl Ableman, JoJo Donato, Jessica (Joshua) Lieb, Keith, Kyle, Mackenzie and Kolton Weiler; four great grandchildren Brad Thomas Ableman, Rylee Starr Ableman, Kody and Zoie Lieb; a brother Ralph Carpenter Jr. She is predeceased by her husband Arnold J. Adams Sr. and her brother Kenneth Carpenter. A funeral service will be held on Friday August 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont, followed by an interment in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont.
