Cpl. John James Prastio Sr., 2nd Battalion 3rd Marines, retired, 76, died peacefully at home in April 11, 2021. A Vietnam Veteran, served in three tours and received 3 Purple Hearts. His individual strength was immeasurable. At 20, he was told he would never walk again due to battle wounds but with his determination and perseverance he walked. He didn’t stop there.
