John Francis Warnken

Altamont- John F. Warnken, 69, died suddenly on Monday October 31, 2011 at Ellis Hospital. He was born on November 19, 1941 in Unionville, son of the late Richard and Margaret Warnken. He was a Carpenter, employed by Local 370 in Albany for over 30 years. He was a beloved deacon and the sexton at the Altamont Reformed Church. John is survived by his wife of 21 years Linda Warnken; two sons Randy Warnken and Matthew (Allison) Warnken; two grandsons Cole and Kyle; two step children Heidi (Scott) Audino and Richard Schultz; three step grandchildren Madison, Angelina and Isabella; two brothers Richard and Russell; three sisters Betty, Linda and Debbie. A memorial service will be held 11 AM on Saturday November 5, 2011at Altamont Reformed Church, followed by the family receiving friends at a celebration of John's life with refreshments in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's memory to a charity of one's choice.
