Kenneth B. LeBel

Guilderland- Kenneth B. LeBel (Papa Kenny) passed away suddenly on Monday, July 25,2011 at home. Born in Meriden, Ct. he was the son of Nellie LeBel (Warbel) and Leo LeBel. He was raised in Lake Placid,NY where he excelled at speed skating and barrel jumping. He is a world record holder and is in the Guinness Book of World Records. He is survived by his children, Lisa Carroll(Billy), Lori LeBel-Vink and Ken LeBel, Jr. (Joanne) and his former wife,Diane, who he had a very special relationship with,his sister Aldrina Regan (Peabody,MA) and his grandchildren Sammie,Billy,Sadie, Devin, Monica, Lauren, Madyson and Kendra. Papa had a love of sports. He loved attending his grandchildrens' sporting events, especially hockey,softball and baseball. He also loved his garden. Calling hours will be held on Thursday July 28,2011 from 4-7pm at Fredendall Funeral Home,199 Main St. Altamont, NY 12009.
