Albany- Kent Carl Walls, prankster, movie aficionado, soda connoisseur and owner of the most infectious smile in the world, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2018.
Kent was born on January 22, 1975 and brought joy and mirth to all who knew him throughout his almost 44 years of life. More often than not, Kent could be found with a huge grin on his face, especially while dancing to the oldies, watching one of his favorite movies or spending time with his extended family at any of our numerous get-togethers.
Kent will be loved and missed by his parents, Carl and Kathleen Walls, his siblings, Thomas Walls and Katie (Stepheon) Sheldon, and his niece, Sidney Sheldon. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss watching A Christmas Story with him on Christmas Eve, among many other activities.
Kent spent many of his days being cared for superbly by the wonderful people of Catholic Charities at his home on Jules Drive and those at his workplace at Albany New Visions.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Kent's memory to Catholic Charities, Disability Services, 1 Park Place #200, Albany, NY 12205. (All donations to Kent's home on Jules Drive)
Calling hours will be on Monday, December 10 at the First Reformed Church of Berne, 1664 Helderberg Trail from 9-12am with a funeral service to follow at 12noon.
Oh, and Kent, if someone asks if you're a god, you say YES!
