WINDHAM- Kunigunda "Connie" Tripsas, 79, passed away late Tuesday evening. She is survived by husband George Tripsas, 82, and her brother Leo Eisman (Rita). She is survived by her five children, Samuel (Pamela), Gus (Carola), Mary, Chris (Rachel), and Eugenia (Robert), as well as ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and five nieces and nephews in Germany. Connie immigrated to the United States after marrying George in 1958 to Jersey City, NJ. Connie is best known for being a loving mother and grandmother, called "Omi" by her grandchildren. She ran a successful interior design business in New York City, "Connie's Decorators". In 1971, Connie and George established a residence in Windham. In 1985, Connie opened a thriving interior decorating, antique sale and refurbishing business in the Windham Mini-mall. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. Connie was an active member of the community, serving on the board of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption and remained a positive influence in Windham. Viewing hours will be held at Decker Funeral Home, 5312 Main St., Windham on Sunday, 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm, as well as Monday starting at 9am with a church service to follow at 10AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption in Windham. Connie will live on in the hearts and memories of all those she knew.
