Larry D Partridge (Bird, Papa Grouch, Dad) 66, of Ashland, NY, passed away on November 29, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Larry was born in Catskill,NY to parents, Calvin and Alyce Partridge on November 8, 1952. He went to Windham Ashland Jewett high school and graduated in 1972. He worked as a Mechanic for Hunter Mountain for 18 years, Onteora School for 21 years where he had to retire due to illness. Larry was a devoted husband, father, foster father, brother, brother in law, uncle cousin he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending family time camping. Larry is survived by his beloved wife Wanda Partridge, Ashland Family members include son Christopher Partridge, Naugatuck CT,daughter in law Sherry Partridge, Bridgeport CT, daughter Heather Younes and husband Jeremie Younes, Ashland NY, daughter Amanda Bathen and husband Zack Bathen, Cobleskill,NY, son Dustin Partridge, Hudson NY, son Garrison Partridge, Wassaic NY, son Joseph Partridge, Meredith NY, Aaron Crewell, Athens NY, brother Randall Partridge Sr.and wife Deena Partridge, Ashland NY, brother Kevin Partridge and wife Margaret Partridge, Ashland NY, sister Deborah Partridge, Catskill,NY, sister in law, Carol Partridge -Branch, Albany NY, grandchildren Vicki Downs, Bridgeport CT, Corey Partridge, Naugatuck CT, Anthony, Gabrielle, and Jeremie Jr., Ashland NY, Charlotte Bathen, Cobleskill NY, as well as many nieces, nephews,great nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Calvin and Alyce Partridge, brother,Gary Partridge. Calling hours will be held at Deckers Funeral Home 5312 Route 23 Windham, NY on December 7, 2018 from 2PM to 4PM and 7PM to 9PM. Funeral service will be held at Deckers Funeral Home on December 8, 2018 at 11AM with Pastor Al of Living Faith Community Church officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, State Route 23 Ashland NY.
