Lois E. Gray

Altamont- Lois E. Gray, 86, died peacefully on April 15, 2009 at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home. She was born in Guilderland, daughter of the late Herman and Emma (Miller) Gray. She lived many years in her beloved village of Altamont, before becoming a resident of the Guilderland Center Nursing Home. Lois was a sweet lady who loved everyone she met, especially children. She was deeply involved with the Altamont Senior Citizens, VFW and many local activities in Altamont. She was a member of the Princetown Reformed Church then the Altamont Reformed Church. She is survived by her nieces Linda (Thomas) Brennan and Carol (Tim) Maikoff as well as five great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Raymond Gray. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Guilderland Center Nursing Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 pm on Saturday April 18, 2009 at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
