Louise Jane Ronan

Altamont- L. Jane Ronan passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY of heart failure. She was born May 6, 1922 in Albany to the late Harmon and Anna Louise Vedder. She was a resident of the town of Guilderland for all of her life. She was employed by the New York Telephone company early in her career and later was employed by the Guilderland School District as a teaching assistant in a special education classroom. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Newton Ronan. She was the loving mother of Gail (Stewart) Kidder; Deborah (Kevin) McKee and Martha (Bud) Davis; Cherished grandmother of Michael, Jason, and Adam Wroblewski; Anna and Maggie McKee; Alison Davis, Rebecca (Davis) Flynn, Megan (Davis) Scott and Karrie (Brett) Davis; Great grandmother of Maeve and Liam Wroblewski; Alexis and Jacklyn Flynn, Aiden Rossman and Gavin Davis. The Family wishes to thank Dr. Neil Mitnick for his many years of caring and personal attention to our family as well as to the staff of St. Peter's Hospital for their care and compassion during her stay there. A Memorial service will be conducted at 3 pm at the Altamont Reformed Church on Sunday, May 17, 2009. Friends may call on Saturday from 5 to 8 pm at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont.
