Lucille B. Kellie "Susie"

Lucille B. (Shafer) Kellie, “Susie”, 79, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on May 18, 2022.

Susie was the daughter of Raymond Shafer, Sr., and Elsie (Bradt) Shafer.  She was the cherished wife of Robert Kellie, loving mother of Lisa and beloved grandmother of Drew and Katie.  Her grandchildren were her world.  They spent many hours at Grammy’s and brought her laughter and joy.  She was known as Aunt Susie to her many nieces, nephews, and their children.  She loved spending time with them and enjoyed watching them and their children grow up.

Susie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert, her daughter Lisa (Andrew) Joslin of Westerlo, NY, her grandchildren Andrew, Jr. and Kathryn; her brother, Richard Shafer; and her sister, Paula (Bernard) Sisson, her husband’s brothers, sisters and their spouses as well as cousins, nieces and nephews and their families.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Ray, and Elsie; her stepmother, Shirley; her brother, Ray “Junior”, her brother, Loren “Lornie”, and her granddaughter Juliana.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside committal service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 26th at High Point Cemetery, Old Stage Road in Altamont.
