Lynda M. Harrington

Delanson- Lynda M. Harrington passed away on October 23, 2018. at St. Peter's Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Albany, NY on June 27, 1957, the daughter of Alberta Knauf and the late Robert P. Knauf Sr. Lynda retired from NYS Thruway Authority after 20 years of service. She enjoyed kayaking and swimming but most of all she loved her family. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, James D. Harrington Jr., her girls, Jessica Marie Harrington (Marc Ammann) of Portland, OR and Rachel Lorraine (Brian) Page of Altamont; a granddaughter due November 21, 2018; her twin sister Lorraine (David) Berkley of Delanson, her brother Robert P. (Liz) Knauf Jr. of Sprakers, NY; her brother-in-law Jeffrey Harrington (Jill Raymond) of Guilderland, sister-in-law Ellen (Kirk) Fisher of Guilderland, and brother-in-law Eric Harrington (Lisa Serafini) and brother-in-law Greg (Patti) Harrington of Glenmont; several nieces and nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her in-laws, James and Shirley Harrington and sister-in-law Jane Harrington. A special thank you to the staff at St. Peter's Hospital and NYOH for their fantastic care during this difficult time. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 4-7PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont with a service to follow at 7PM. Interment will take place on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 1:15PM at Fairview Cemetery, Altamont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynda's memory to Duanesburg Volunteer Ambulance Corp. 130 Cole Rd, Delanson, NY 12053.
