Margaret "Peg" Hayden

East Berne- Margaret "Peg" Hayden, 82, passed away peacefully at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital on March 7, 2017. Peg was born in West Berne NY, the daughter of the late Verni and Merti Shultes. She was a graduate of Berne-Knox-Westerlo Central School. Peg was a rural letter carrier for East Berne, until her retirement in 1994. Peg is survived by Bill, her husband of 63 years; her children, Melanie (Jeff) Teats, Dan (Andrea) Hayden, Shawn (Mary Lynn) Hayden; her grandchildren, Carli, Ross (Kelly) Teats and Maria and Kellie Hayden; her sister Bernice Bunzey. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
