Altamont- Marshall Vinehout, 90, died on Friday, January 22, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn. Born in Altamont, he was the son of the late Charles and Julia (Tabor) Vinehout. He was a decorated World War II veteran. Marshall is survived by Kathy Vinehout, Betty Spadaro, Joseph Spadaro, cousin Blanche Tubbs, uncle of Gladys Short, Linda Schrom, Brenda Hewitt, Charles Vinehout, Richard Spadaro, Susie Arnold, Ronald Spadaro and Terri McCoy; many great nieces and nephews; cousins; and great great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Rose Spadaro; siblings Elizabeth (James) Short, Harry Vinehout, Beatrice (Harold) Hewitt; brother-in-law Patrick Spadaro and sister-in law Helen (William)McCoy; niece Julie Vinehout and nephews Robert Spadaro and Doug Schrom. A memorial service will held at 11 am on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont. A spring burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Saratoga National Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Goussous, Dr. Brazis, Dr. Migden, Dan Mead RPAC, Catherine Marsh NP, Susan Kolb RN, Susan Pesh RN, Barbara, Kate, Betsy at the Hospice inn as well as all the staff of the St Peter ER, 6th Floor, ICU and Hospice Inn.
