Knox- Marvin (Skip) Edward Kelsch Jr., 65, of Knox passed away January 20, 2016 at St. Peter's Hospice.
He was born on February 14, 1950 to the late Marvin (Dutch) and Alice McCumber Kelsch. Skip went to Berne-Knox-Westerlo School and served in the US Army during Vietnam, the 175th air borne. He liveed most of his life in Knox and was a jack of all trade from construction, pools and maintenance. His family and friends were important to him. He went hunting and fishing besides making and sharing horseradish at Easter and venison jerky for them.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Sandra Luniewski Kelsch; his daughter Tina Kelsch; his son Marvin (Jake); his grandson Damien Kelsch and Jennifer Coffran.; his sisters Noreen (Peter) Jorgenson, Eva (Terry) Lounsbury, Kathy (Billy) Bishop, Carolyn Weatherwax and Elizabeth (Kal) Dunston; his brother Thomas Kelsch and several nieces and nephews.
Skip was predeceased by his brother Frank Kelsch and his sister Beverly Simmons.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 4-6PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 main St., Altamont with a funeral service at 5:30.
