Mary C. Bosworth

Altamont- Mary C. Bosworth, (85), died peacefully on October 16, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 1, 1931 in Albany, NY to the late William and Mary Elizabeth (nee Smith) McCann. She was predeceased by her husband Matthew Bosworth and daughter Mary Brooks. She is survived by her children William (Micky), Daniel (Michele), Margaret (Richard) Barber, Kathleen (Edward) Katz and son-in-law Tom Brooks; her grandchildren Matthew and Daniel Bosworth, Theresa, Andrew and Alan Barber, Matthew, Derek and Justin Katz, Rachael Carl and Mary Star Brooks; ten great grandchildren; her sisters Dora D'Amato and Nancy Lown and her brother Jim McCann; and many nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was loved by all that knew her. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and she made everyone believe that they were her favorite. Mary worked at the Guilderland Central High School as the Library Clerk. She was a life member of the Guilderland Center Ladies Auxiliary. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 4-8PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont, with a service at 7:30PM. A graveside service will be at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Albany on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 11AM.
