Mary K. Labanowicz

Rutland, VT - Mary K. Labanowicz, 91, died at the Mountain View Center on Monday, October 19, 2009. Mary was born on April 18, 1918, in Paconic, New York to the late John and Katherine Labanowicz. She was a 1935 graduate of Altamont High School. She served during World War II in the U.S. Women's Army Corp. She worked for the Atomic Energy Commission as a secretary from 1941 until 1973. Mary is survived by her cousin Caprice Hover of Rutland, VT. She is predeceased by her brother Michael and is wife Millie Labanowicz as well as a niece Marilyn Labanowicz. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont, NY; followed by an interment in Fairview Cemetery, Altamont.
