Michelle M. Teal, Altamont, New York. June 7, 1964 - November 7, 2016 Michelle M. Teal, recently of Route 158, Altamont, NY; loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister; aunt, and cousin to many. She passed at St. Peter's Hospital on November 7, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones. Michelle was born in Delhi, NY. She graduated Guilderland Central High School and Maria College. She was self employed for many years as a restauranteur and co-owner of The Homestead Bake Shop and The Cheldan House Restaurant. She also worked for the Guilderland School District as a paraprofessional. She is survived by her husband and love of her life, Daniel Teal, Esperance, NY; son, Joshua Teal, Esperance, NY; daughter, Jennifer Teal and ?ancé Joshua Perault, Bronx, NY; and grandson, Gavin Perault. She is also survived by her mother, Elizabeth (Betty) Day, Altamont, NY; father, Frederick Day and wife Amy, San Diego, CA; sisters Mary Regatuso, Mt. Morris, NY, Margret Lloyd, Schenectady, NY, Lillian Day, Tilton, NH; brother William Day, Schenectady, NY; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was recently predeceased by her dear brother John Day, survived by his wife, Donna, Cadyville, NY. Her sweet, caring and loving nature attracted many, attested to by the abundance of loved ones who surrounded her. Family was the cornerstone of her life. Being a mother and grandmother were her greatest joys. Friends and family may all meet at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont, NY on Friday evening, between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. A mass will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, November 12 at St Lucy's Church, Altamont NY at 10 a.m. The family requests that, in lieu of ?owers, donations be made to the American Lung Association of the Northeast, 45 Ash Street, East Hartford CT 06106. Donations are also accepted on the Association's website. Interment will be private.
