Patricia A. Geary

d. October 22, 2015

On Wednesday October 21, we as a Community were saddened by the sudden death of our dear friend, Patricia "Patti" Geary. We will celebrate her life with calling hours on Wednesday, October 28, 5pm to 8pm at Decker Funeral Home in Windham. We will send her home to her Lord and Savior with Mass at St. Theresa's, Windham, on Thursday October 29 at 10:00AM. Internment will take place immediately following at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ashland. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Columbia-Greene Humane Society at 125 Humane Society Rd, Hudson, NY 12534 (518) 828-6044. Patti leaves behind her good friends, Beverly Laterza and Siobhain Lavery and their families. She is survived by her brother Tom Geary, sister-in-Law Kathy, nephew Bryan Geary and niece Bridget Geary. She is predeceased by her parents, George and Dorothy Geary. Patti was born in Wantagh NY, and moved to Hensonville in her teens. She graduated from WAJ and Miami Photography College, FL. She was a life long Mets fan, and an avid Ski Instructor, and a vet tech. She was also an enthusiastic Inn Keeper, who was always remembered by the guests, for her warm welcomes. Patti was an enthusiastic animal lover. Her last rescue was her beloved Boxer, Ginger. Patti was an Honorary Member of the Hensonville Hose Co. and attended many of their Community events. Patti never met a stranger and her infectious smile and her kind words will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
