Tubbs, Richard A. - Knox

Richard A. Tubbs longtime resident of Knox passed away in his home on Sunday February 2, 2025. Born in May of 1941, he was the son of the late Fred and Bertha Norman Tubbs. Husband of Carol Miltner Tubbs.

A retiree of DUI in Rotterdam, Richard was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed hunting. In his free time Richard was a card player with family and friends. Gambling was his personal favorite past time and he would love his trip to the various casinos.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his daughter Denise Hagadorn and step daughters Rachel Sherman, Jenn Dexter and Caroline; his sisters Gloria and Donna. Also survived by his great grandchildren Jack and Anthony and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.

Richard is predeceased by his granddaughter Iccis and great grandson Ethan. Additionally he is predeceased by siblings Merlin, Leonard, Louis, Ruth, Evelyn, Gladys, and Rose.

Family and friends are invited and may visit with Richard's family on Monday February 10th at 10am-12pm in the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street Altamont. A prayer service will immediately follow the visitation in the funeral home.
