Robert E. Alberti

Robert Alberti, 83 a lifetime resident of Mitchell Hollow Road in Windham, died on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinecliff, NY where he was receiving rehabilitative therapy after a fall. He most recently resided at Windham Willows. Robert was born on September 3, 1933, the son of the late Chester Alberti and Elsie (Higgins) Alberti. He is survived by his sisters, Teresa (Alberti) Sacco of Newport News, VA and Geraldine (Alberti) Cook of Rhinebeck, NY and many nieces and nephews and also several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Robert was predeceased by two brothers; Chester Alberti, Jr, and Alec M. Alberti, and also by two sisters; Thelma (Alberti) Parmelee and Karen (Alberti) Gonzalez. Robert had worked on many farms in the Windham area, most notably for the Cunninghams and the Police Anchor Camp years ago when it was a Chicken Farm. A memorial service for Robert will be held at the Mitchell Hollow Mission Church, Windham NY on Sunday May 7,2017 at 11am.
