Robert S. LaCrosse

Altamont - Robert S. LaCrosse, 67, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at St Peter's Hospice Inn. Born on March 10, 1943 in Rutland, VT, he was the son of the late Moses and Winnie LaCrosse. He served in the US Navy for 20 years during which he served two tours in Vietnam, retiring as a Petty Officer First Class. After his retirement he worked at French's Hollow Fairways. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Robert is survived by his wife Jean LaCrosse; a son; 2 daughters; 7 grandchildren; 2 stepsons; a stepdaughter; 3 stepgrandcildren; a brother William LaCross of VT; a sister Jeanne Rizzo of Loudonville as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Rosalie Benware. A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday December 9, 2010 at the Altamont Reformed Church followed by an interment Saratoga National Cemetery.
