Duanesburg- Robert D. Waldron, 66, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013. He was born in Niskayuna, NY the son of Gerald and Marjorie (Furbeck) Waldron on April 28, 1947. Robert was an avid woodworker. He enjoyed making wooden toys and pine products and selling them at craft fairs. He enjoyed bowling and camping. He is survived by his mother Marjorie of Duanesburg; his brother Ronald (Denise) Waldron of Tribes Hill, NY; his niece Brenna (Keith) Phillips of GA; his Aunt Jean Furbeck of Princetown, NY; his great nephew Ryan Joseph Phillips of GA and many cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his father Gerald Waldron; his Aunt Dorothy Furbeck and Uncle Herbert Furbeck. Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 10AM-12PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont, NY, with a funeral service to follow at 12PM. Interment at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to Duanesburg Volunteer Ambulance Corps 288 Cole Rd. Delanson, NY 12053, or Princetown Evangelical Presbyterian Church Youth Program 3662 Giffords Church Rd, Duanesburg, NY 12056. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Albany Medical Center for their kind care.
