Ruth E. Schultz

New Scotland- Ruth E. Schultz ,95 a lifetime resident of New Scotland, NY died on Feb. 10,2010 in Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY. She was born on Feb. 18, 1914 the daughter of Allen R. and Lula(nee Becker) Hurst in New Scotland, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Foster C. Schultz on July 28, 2002. She is survived by her niece Carole Chermak and her husband Leo. She is also survived by her great nephews Peter and his wife Marie, Patrick and his wife Carolyn and Robert and his wife Andrea Chermak as well as one great niece Kimberly Fleming and her husband Timothy. She is also survived by 9 great-great nieces and nephews. Ruth was a 1932 graduate of Delmar High School. Prior to her marriage she worked as a hairdresser in Albany, NY. Funeral arrangements will be private at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Bruce Miller officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
