Sherilynn (Nelson) Pacelli, age 68, born September 23, 1947, of Schenectady, is at final rest, passing at Ellis hospital on October 27, 2015. She struggled with many illnesses for over 30 years. She was known, for years, at Ellis Hospital, as the lady with the 9 lives of a cat, and later as the lady with the lives of 9 cats. She was an accountant, loved bowling, camping, reading murder mysteries, and especially her family whom she always supported. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Mary (Harrison) Nelson. She is survived by her husband, of 48 years, John Pacelli, a son, Michael Pacelli, and two daughters, Ann Pacelli and her husband Nathan Pyne and Nancy (Pacelli) Ingersoll and her husband Timothy Ingersoll, a sister, Kathryn Linscott of Leesburg, Fla, a brother, Earl Nelson, of Averill Park, three grandchildren, Nathaniel Pacelli, Geordan Ingersoll, Caiden Ingersoll, and several nieces and nephews. Her sister, Marilynn Linscott of Catskill, predeceased her. Viewing will be from 10 to 12 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Rossi and Ditoro Funeral Home, 501 Union St., Schenectady with a service to follow.
